Checked the switch for D.TIME due to the problem of changing from 200mS to 800mS of delay. Found it’s not the cause. Had the wiring from the switch resoldered and it’s hey, it’s back in normal operation! Also fixed the knob for E.LEVEL wich was glued in place.

Found these vintage OA5 germanium diodes in the box of vintage stuff. Beutiful diodes indeed. Got to make something with them, just don’t know what? Anyone care for a custom built pedal with these beuties under the hood and in what circuit?

Some pictures from the work bench.
I like how the circuit board appears in black and white.
And a gut shot.

Got a Boss DD-3 on the workbench.
Got some problem with the pots I was told. Nice and clean on the solder side of the circuit board.
Here’s a picture of the component side.
When played it seems the select knob has trouble changing from 200mS to the 800mS setting.

Here we are in the work of my latest design. I’ve fitted the complete circuit in a Hammond 1590B chassie. Though the tweaking continues.
Stay tuned for more info. Earlier post.

Working on a new Zeta-Sound design. I’m in the tryout of a new idea. Right now the circuit is undergoing some testing and tweaking of component values. Making it sound as I imagined it would. We’ll see what comes out of it. Stay tuned for more info.

Got two Rats of different generations on the bench for repair. The v2 to the left, not working at all. The other one did not reach unity gain.
I had to replace a malfunctioning jfet source follower on the output stage on the old Rat.
The other one had already been messed with. There were several copper traces on the circuit board that had to be mended, the opamp was burnt and wires not connected. Managed to bring it back to life again.
