Hi what was the pedal doing before you recapped it ? I have one here that doesn’t work you can ever so faintly here a wah wine that seems unrelated to any note you play on bass , will a recap fix this ? thanks

Can’t tell if it’d fix your problem. Could be a cap problem as well as something else, but give it a go and try replacing the electrolytic caps.
